We do not own a Beverage dispensing license in any way shape or form. We simply rent a kick-ass bar that is sure to be the talk of your event, town or tavern.
Nate started with a love of unique classic cars and passion for crafting the finest Alaskan cocktails from a small garage in Fairbanks, down to a bridge overlooking Ship Creek in Anchorage, and many places in between. After managing in the hospitality and automotive industry for over 10 years, he felt it was time to jump ship and pursue his passions of Classic Auto’s and Unique Alaskan events.
Now? Self-proclaimed, “Nate’s Cars & Bars” is hauling memories from Tok to Homer, and sourcing contacts from Juneau to Utqiagvik—because no one should miss out on their BIG days, no matter where they live.
Harmony grew up in the historical state of Pennsylvania, and soon felt the call to move as far away as humanly possible to Alaska. Specifically, St. Michael, a village located just off the Bering Straight on the west coast of Alaska. She has worked in many educational capacities, as well as trained in hospitality, and brings a unique specialty for working with personalities and people to her ever-growing job duties with Big State.
Her bright ideas and positive nature made her a perfect fit to begin learning all the skills she will need to expand and run our operations. While this is her first time stepping back into the hospitality industry in many years. Her passion to learn and quick wit, will leave you dumb-founded that she’s new to this. She makes everyone feel right at home in this BIG state.
Kristin jumped into the hospitality industry at the age of 17 working for a local Asian Hibachi in Georgia. Soon after she was transplanted to Alaska, where her love of Alaskan cocktails and hospitality grew a strong basis for her own career.
Kristin currently works as our Lead Bartender, and is finalizing school for Medical Lab Science. She has a passion for teaching others, creating breakthrough garnishes, and mixing it up while she guides you through your special days and events.
Arguably, the most important position. Our paperwork monkey and beer junkie, Nathan has spent many years exploring the wide world of beer. When Nate reached out to Nathan to see if he wanted to buy a unique Alaskan piece of history that poured beer. Nathan was ALL IN!
